About me

First and foremost, I am a loving wife and mum of 3 children and 2 dogs. I have practised yoga for almost 20 years and have worked in the gym industry for nearly 10 years.

I decided to become a Yoga Teacher because, although I loved group exercise and training people, something was missing. I wanted people to, not only, feel confident in their bodies, I wanted them to feel something on a much deeper level - I just couldn’t do this in a gym!

As I’ve got older, my own practice has changed, and different things have become a priority. Breathwork or Pranayama became important to me, as the way we breathe says a lot about us. Taking time to tune into this before the physical practice of your yoga, really sets the scene for a great yoga class.

I was always that person that left yoga before the meditation, but for me now, I could not ask for anything better! The moments of stillness became just as important as the moments of work, if not more so.

I feel that my own journey serves me well when anybody comes to Beaulieu Yoga. Getting people to feel what is right for them and finding postures that suits their bodies on that day.
